On July 4, the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation announces the start of a funding competition for NGOs — VARTO: The Path of Recovery.
Under the terms of the project, funding is available to non-governmental organizations that provide veterans, their families, and families of fallen defenders with opportunities for rehabilitation through physical activity.
Funds can be obtained at:
- arranging the necessary infrastructure (physical rehabilitation centers, clubs, sections) for training activities for veterans;
- organizing events/training for veterans under the guidance of qualified trainers and rehabilitation specialists aimed at increasing their physical activity and engaging them in an active lifestyle;
- holding mass physical activity events (competitions) for veterans, including veterans with visible and invisible disabilities.
The amount of funding provided to each winner is from 500 thousand to one million hryvnias.
Applications will be accepted from July 24 to August 9, 2024, 18:00. An independent commission will determine the winners of funding for NGOs among the projects.
The maximum project implementation period is up to 12 months.
