The Ukrainian Veterans Foundation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine provides free legal consultations to veterans and their family memners. The project is implemented jointly with the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission (NAKO) with the support of the Office of the Special Adviser on Defense of Great Britain.
“The state is obliged to create conditions for a person to realize his fundamental rights and freedoms, to guarantee the right of compensation for damage, to ensure the inevitability of responsibility for violations of constitutional human rights. That is why professional lawyers and attorneys will help to figure them out. This may concern information about benefits for veterans and their family members, as well as other issues related to social statuses, guarantees, etc.,” says Ruslana Velychko-Trifonyuk, first deputy executive director of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation.
Consultations are free of charge. To receive professional help, leave your request using the link.
In this form, you must indicate personal information, contact phone number and briefly describe the essence of the appeal. Requests for assistance can be submitted at any day and at any hour. “Lawyers process requests as soon as they are received, so most issues can be resolved on the same day. However, sometimes specialists need more time to prepare an answer. It can take up to several days,” explains Nataliya Kalmykova, executive director of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation.

“It is especially important for NAKO to support veterans and their families. In particular, it is important for us to understand what legal problems and needs they have. Together with the UVF, we strive to examine these problems. And later, not only to help them, but also to offer systemic solutions,” emphasizes Olena Trygub, executive director of NAKO.
