The Ukrainian Veterans Foundation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine is expanding the opportunities of defenders together with the Uklon company. New projects will become possible thanks to the conclusion of the Memorandum of Cooperation. Priority is given to creating new opportunities for veterans, including work in the Uklon service.
Meeting the needs of veterans and their families is the systematic work of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. One of the conditions for success on the way to the result is to find points of contact with valuable companies.
“Our priority is servicemen, which protect the country. It is important to understand that gratitude for the protection of you and me must be effective and it should be expressed at different levels. That is why we are fruitfully cooperating with the Uklon company. Gratitude should be timely,” says Nataliya Kalmykova, CEO of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation.
The focus of cooperation is work on new opportunities for veterans, including at Uklon. Company co-founder Dmytro Dubrovskyi, who also became an ambassador of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation, comments:
“As a business, it is our duty to do everything to ensure that Ukrainian veterans are protected as much as possible and receive incredible support on the way to reintegration into the new Ukrainian society. I call on all Ukrainian businesses to support, help and fight – together with veterans and for veterans,” says Dmytro Dubrovskyi.
The Ukrainian Veterans Foundation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs is a partner of Uklon among veterans and their families. Institutions already have experience in implementing a joint project. In particular, in April of this year, Uklon launched the “Inclusive” class. Veterans, defenders and all wheelchair users in Kyiv and the suburbs can move freely in specially equipped cars.
Dignified treatment and non-discrimination, in particular towards veterans and their families, are the basic approaches that teams already use in their work. Together we are empowering the strongest!
